JALANDHAR: Gandhian Studies Centre of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, the Heritage and Autonomous institution conducted a one day camp in village Mubarakpur Sheikhe for the village women. During the camp the women were given lecture on the importance of health and hygiene. A workshop of block printing, hair styling and make up was also organized.
CHANDIGARH: Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran saw its Annual Athletic Meet 2018 conclude with a stupendous show. CGC’s Simran Singh, from Mechanical Engineering stream, was named the Best Athlete (Girls) while Bharat Bhushan from Mechanical Engineering stream was adjudged the Best Athlete (Boys). Both the winners were felicitated with medals and trophies.

JALANDHAR: The School of Mechanical Engineering (SME) at Lovely Professional University (LPU) organized 3-Day International Conference on Composite Materials, Manufacturing, Experimental Techniques, Modelling & Simulation (ICCMMEMS-2018), where top global leaders from France, Mexico, India and more reached LPU campus. They guided LPU Students about the conversion of their ‘Wisdom into Wealth’ for making India top global economic power. For the conference 500+ research papers were received from 15 countries including Australia Canada, US, Germany, Singapore and more. Of these research papers, 200 were selected for presentation during different technical sessions, and 112 are forwarded for Scopus Index Publication.
SAS Nagar (Mohali): In remembrance to “Gur Gaddi Divas” of the Seventh Guru of Sikhs Guru Har Rai Ji, I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University’s PIT campus Khunnimajra near SAS Nagar celebrated Vatavaran Diwas (Sikh Environment Day). This celebration was dedicated for Guru Ji’s deep sensitivity to nature and its preservation.
JALANDHAR: M.G.N College of Education, Jalandhar celebrated ‘World Sikh Environment Day’ in the college premises, on the call of ECO SIKH (USA) Group. On this day, Cleanliness Drive, Tree Plantation were initiated and Water Pots were hanged for birds in the college premises. The purpose of these activities was to make the students aware regarding the importance of environment protection. All the students of the college planted a variety of Medicinal plants in the college campus.
JALANDHAR: INNOKIDS- Pre- Primary wing of Innocent Hearts School (G.M.T., Loharan and C.J.R.) organized Popping Party for the little ones. A number of activities were organized for the kids. The children cut the cake and it was followed by Ramp Walk.
JALANDHAR: DIPS Polytechnic college rarra morr was conducted a workshop by Solitaire Infosys on 15th March in collage premises. In this workshop speaker Rubal Grover made the students awared about latest and different technologies.

JALANDHAR: Tata Group organized Asia’s largest Campus Quiz ‘Tata Crucible-2018’ at Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium of Lovely Professional University (LPU), where LPU Management students’ team of Sukhwinder Singh & Raghav won Runner-up Prize of Rs 35,000. This competition is organized throughout the country annually by Tata Group in different steps.
