Gadvasu professor conferred with lifetime achievement award

Ludhiana: Dr. Hari Mohan Saxena, Professor of Immunology at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana has been conferred with the coveted Lifetime achievement award in Veterinary Science by the Venus International Foundation at the Annual Research Meet 2017 organized at Chennai recently. The award was presented to him by the chief guest Dr. Christine Berberich from United Kingdom and the guest of honour Dr. Gavin Stewart from Singapore. The award has been bestowed upon Dr. Saxena for his research contributions in Immunology and infectious diseases.            

Fun with Shapes Activity at The Nobel School

Jalandhar: To make the students more aware of the shapes, a “Fun with Shapes” activity was organized in The Nobel School. Tiny tots of Pre-Nursery to Prep Class participated in the activity very enthusiastically. The students of K.G. and Prep made shapes according to the instructions given by their class in charges.

Engineering students from CGC bag first position in Northern Region and Second at National level in Techno Champ 2017

CHANDIGARH: Three engineering students from Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran have stood 1st in the northern region and 2nd at national level, in the seventh season of national level competition 'Techno Champ 2017’ organised at Pune. The competition saw the participation of 1,800 teams comprising 3,000-plus students from universities and colleges across the country.

Khalsa Schools Celebrate Children Day

AMRITSAR: All the five schools under the Khalsa College Governing Council today celebrated `Children Day’ at their respective campuses with enthusiasm. The children presented colourful shows and resorted to fun and frolics apart from seminars and talks on the life of India’s first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru whose birth anniversary is celebrated as Childern Day.
