Muktsar, June 12 An elderly farmer of Thandewala village here on Tuesday allegedly attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance in front of a police team, which was in the village regarding a land dispute. The farmer, Ramdas, was taken to a hospital in Faridkot. Villagers alleged that the cops were supporting the other party, which forced Ramdas to attempt suicide.
