We all have seen different sides to Emraan Hashmi as the actor, the witty person and doting father! The actor doesn’t like to socialize too much is a fact that we all know but when he does make public appearances, he is as candid as one can be. Currently, Emraan is a busy bee giving out interviews and attending events and promoting his forthcoming film Why Cheat India. And when he was giving an interview to Bollywood Hungama recently, he was in his usual uninhibited self.
During the Rapid Fire Segment of the Bollywood Hungama interview, Emraan Hashmi did have a lot of revelations to make. And one amongst them was about his school days. When he was quizzed about the worst punishment he has had in school, the actor responded that it was a writing punishment that he got for talking during the lecture. He said, “I got detention when I was in Std. 8th for talking in class. And I had to write, ‘I won’t talk in Class’ about 200 times from 2’o clock to 3’o clock.” Ouch!
Emraan Hashmi, who was last seen in Baadshaho, will be returning to the big screen with Why Cheat India that also marks the Bollywood debut of Shreya Dhanwantary. The actor’s wife Parveen Hashmi is co-producing this film along with Ellipsis and T-Series banners. The film is said to be exposing the corrupt malpractices of the education system that has now become extremely commercialized in the country.
Besides this, Emraan Hashmi is expected to produce and act in Captain Nawab, The Body and also in the web series Bard Of Blood.
