Sources told The Tribune that while the police were on his lookout, the gangster was infact roaming freely and even managed to watch movies in Chandigarh before he was tracked down eventually. Chandigarh, July 7 In a dramatic turn of events, former Moga SSP Raj Jit Singh appeared on a TV channel hours after Punjab Police Vigilance Bureau  issued a lookout notice fearing he might flee the country. Raj Jit said he would appear before the Vigilance Bureau on Monday and submit his passport to allay the propaganda  against him by certain persons that he had fled. “I am bound by an ongoing court case due to which I cannot speak at length, but I have not run away and have no such plans,” he said. Tribune News Service Chandigarh, July 7 Punjab Police's Vigilance Bureau has issued a lookout notice for former Moga SSP Raj Jit Singh in view of media reports that said he was likely to flee the country. A police spokesman said on Saturday that they want Raj Jit for questioning in connection with allegations against him and dismissed Inspector Inderjit Singh, then posted in Tarn Taran. Syed Ali Ahmed Tribune News Service New Delhi, March 28  The CBI has issued a lookout circular against Gurpal Singh, son-in-law of Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, and three others accused in the Simbhaoli Sugar Mills scam of Rs 97.85 crore, sources said.  The three others against whom the CBI has issued a lookout circular are mill chief executive officer GSE Rao, chief finance officer Sanjay Thaparia and executive director Gursimran Kaur. The CBI registered a case against the accused on February 25 for the alleged bank loan of Rs 97.85 crore and default of Rs 110 crore. Surinder Pal Singh Parmar, IG (Border), said the Pakistani handler of Gian Singh alias Gianbir Singh Deol was an ISI operative who was controlling his activities from Indian soil.
