Fazilka, March 1 Baljinder Singh (45), a resident of Ghattianwali village, allegedly died after consuming “poisonous” food on Wednesday night. Three of his family members were taken ill. Sources said that Baljinder Singh, his wife Inderjit Kaur (40), daughter Kiranpal Kaur (19) and Gurkirat Singh (16) had dinner and ‘lassi’ at about 8.30 pm. After some time, the family members started falling ill due to gastroenteritis. They were shifted to a local private hospital at midnight. Baljinder died at 4 am today.
