Last Date of Admission to LPU Distance Education Programmes is 20th October 2018

Jalandhar: Last date of Admission to various Distance Education programmes offered by Lovely Professional University is 20th October 2018. Thousands of students from various locations of Punjab have already taken admission in LPU's 20+ Distance Education Programmes and hundreds are visiting on daily basis for getting their admissions processed. Newly enrolled students are being inducted in the LPU DE system through interactive sessions with the university officials.  

UGC grants Distance Education Programmes’ Approval to LPU consecutively for 12th Academic Session

Jalandhar: As per the recently released recognition list of India’s different universities for offering distance education (DE) programmes; Distance Education Bureau of University Grant Commission (UGC) has accorded approval to Lovely Professional University (LPU) consecutively for 12th Academic Session. This prestigious recognition has once again enabled LPU to run 19 Distance Education programmes in Punjab. In fact, LPU is the only private university in Punjab, which has been given recognition to offer DE programmes in the state. Worth immediate noticing, the last date of admission for the current session of DE Programmes is 20th October 2018.

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Principal Secretary of Technical Education,  Jyoti Arora has said that the new Model Curriculum prescribed by AICTE for various Engineering Programmes is a significant step towards improving the quality of Technical Education. She said that the new Model Curriculum has been prepared keeping in view the latest industry trends and market demands in all major engineering segments. Also, the State Government is committed towards effective implementation of new Model Curriculum, she added.
