The Punjab government led by Captain Amarinder Singh on Friday released funds to the tune of Rs. 1200 crore towards pending payments for various schemes and development projects in the Local Government and Health Department besides releasing monthly social security pensions for August worth Rs. 140 crore and Power subsidy worth Rs 300 crore has also been released.

The Punjab government led by Captain Amarinder Singh on Thursday released funds to the tune of Rs. 562.05 crore towards pending payments for various schemes and development projects, including the maintenance of important memorials in the state.
