Jalandhar: CT University (CTU) signed a Memorandum of Agreement with city-based Rana Hospital for the joint working of a programme Raushnee-The Light in different Schools and Colleges of Ludhiana District.
CT University (CTU) in association with Disha Women Welfare Trust, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Mohali organised an interactive session with Kulwant Kaur popularly known as ‘Google Bebe’ on her speciality acumen of narrating the tales of history of India in general and of Sikhism, in particular. The lady herself addressed all the diverse questions by students and faculty with extreme aptness. The students appreciated her talent.

Jalandhar: One of the BTech Computer Science students of Lovely Professional University (LPU), Rahul Kumar is going to join Heriot-Watt (HW) University Edinburgh in the United Kingdom to complete his graduate degree under credit transfer programme. As per university to university agreement, completing first-half (2 years) of BTech programme at LPU, Rahul will now complete his second-half (next 2 years) of the programme with partner-university in the UK. Rahul is having his Visa for the same and has joined student-orientation programme at HW University. On these lines, LPU has 200+ International university tie-ups for student exchange and credit transfer programmes.
Solan: Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh today organized the Fresher's Party 2018 to give freshmen a taste of campus fun. Rockstar evening was filled up with some power-packed performances by senior batch students. The enthusiasm for the in-house fresher's party and Mr./Ms. Freshers 2018 was palpable, and around 100 students registered from different schools, out of which 15 boys and 15 girls were shortlisted.

The program is aimed at delivering life-skills among school children to adopt a healthy and social behavior in their life cycle. Vivan Singh Gill, Facilitator Director, Fortis Hospital, speaker for the day, enlightened the audience about the programme and henceforth signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the same with Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CTU.
Jalandhar: Sant Baba Bhag Singh University (SBBSU), Khiala working under the patronage of Hon’ble Sant Baba Dlawar Singh and under the keen guidance of Prof. (Dr) Jatinder Singh Bal, Vice Chancellor SBBSU, celebrated Teacher’s Day. The programme commenced with Gurbani Kirtan, an auspicious ritual of the University.
Jalandhar: Performance by Lyallpur Khalsa College Student Kirandeep Kaur, a student of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, who secured 5th position in University exams of Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) -I year by getting 755 marks out of 1100, whereas Vinay Kumar bagged 10th position by getting 735 marks in the same class.
Ludhiana: National School of Drama (NSD) Graduates conducted a workshop based on drama and music at CT University. A team of five graduates from NSD gave the students a skill session based on dance and music. Students from the School of Performing Arts attended the workshop that focused on Basics of Theatre and building character in Theatre.
